EaselCaddy- Brush Holder and Thinner Jar
The EaselCaddy is a product I've designed ( Ed Leder Design, LLC) and have manufactured for artists to use when painting. It combines a brush holder and thinner jar into a single unit that clamps onto an easel, tripod, or any surface up to 2" thick. The parts are fabricated in powder-coated steel, aluminum, and the brush bag is 1680D Polyester. The bag folds flat for ease of storage and travel. The jar comes with a lid and is removable from the rings. There's also a stainless steel brush screen in the jar for keeping your brushes away from the sludge that collects at the bottom of the jar. There is an optional( included) brush separator to keep brushes from touching each other while in the bag. The bag and separator attach onto the rings using hook and loop strips sewn to the bag so assembly is fast and easy. Between the rings and clamp is a ball head that allows for infinite adjustments of tilt and angle to suit your needs. The kit now includes a handy storage bag!The entire assembly weighs only 13 ounces, easy to transport! The EaselCaddy is a handy tool for oil, acrylic and watercolor painters especially for Plein Air painting.It's recommended to use Gamsol and not Turpentine in the jar. A rimmed ball jar can be used instead of the plastic if you wish to use Turpentine.
